Data Deletion Instructions
You have the right to request permanent deletion of all data MsgX holds about you. This page explains what data we hold, what gets deleted, and how to request deletion.

1. What data does MsgX store?
Account data
- Name, email, phone number
- Business name and profile
- Password hash (bcrypt)
WhatsApp credentials
- Encrypted Meta access token (AES-256)
- WABA ID, Phone Number ID
Messaging data
- Message content and metadata
- Delivery status and timestamps
- Conversation history
Contact data
- Phone numbers, names, email addresses
- Tags and custom fields
Developer data
- API key hashes (SHA-256)
- Webhook endpoint URLs
Billing data
- Subscription plan history
- Payment transaction records (via Razorpay)
2. What gets deleted vs. retained?

3. Deletion process
Step 1
Submit a deletion request
Fill out the form below with your registered email address, or email us directly at legal@thepistachio.tech with the subject line 'Data Deletion Request'.
Step 2
Verification
We will verify your identity within 2 business days by sending a confirmation to your registered email address.
Step 3
Data deleted
Once verified, we will permanently delete all your personal data, contacts, messages, API keys, and account information within 30 days.
4. Submit a deletion request
Enter the email address associated with your MsgX account. We'll send a verification email before proceeding.

Note on Facebook / Meta login data
If you connected your WhatsApp Business Account using Facebook login, Meta may also hold data about this connection. To delete data stored by Meta, visit Facebook App Settings and remove MsgX from connected apps. For Meta's own data, submit a request at Meta's data deletion portal.
